I was hiking down the hills of mount Tibidabo, and then I saw this beautiful girl in a lake.... ;) haha, if you like f·r·i·e·n·d·s as much as I do you sure know how the story goes... I fell in love with Barcelona 7 years ago, and since then there hasn't been a year I haven't visited this beautiful city. I've been there during winter, spring , summer and fall. However Barcelona has never let me down, every time is …

A perfect day in Barcelona starts early in the morning, with the sun shining outside my window. It's a perfect day for riding my bicicle up to Tibidabo Mountain, inside Collserola National Park, riding nice tracks in the shadow of big trees with some good friend. After a couple of hours of pure fun, we make a stop for drinking a coffee in the famous chiringuito in Loreneta Park. Then down back to the city, pick up my …

I keep in mind one of the most complete days I spend in Barcelona. Nothing special happened, nothing new was discovered but I realized that I can't stop loving that streets i've walked lots and lots of times. After waking up at a disgraceful hour I called my boyfriend and we met about 5pm at Plaça Universitat. It is there where we use to met when we want to go for a walk. Although I always use to arrive late...the few times …

For my daughter’s fifth birthday treat one clear October morning, a whole crowd of us must have been sixteen or more, managed (by strategic queuing in Plaça Catalunya) to virtually take over the upper deck of a Barcelona tourist bus. Blue route, I think it was. Not that it really mattered.Seeing the city from a whole new perspective was thrilling enough in itself. I’d always wondered why visitors to Barcelona always seemed to be looking …

It had been a year since I had my first date with Silvia so I decided to organize a special date. She knows me quite well, so I had to be very creative not to do something she would expect.    Not a long time ago I visited Gran Hotel Havana Barcelona and I thought that it would be a very good idea to spend the night there. It is very centric and it has …

One of the best days I had in Barcelona was going on a bicycle to "La Carretera de les Aigües" The water road, on Collserola Park on a Sunday. I'm no Lance Armstrong or Alberto Contador so I would recommend this to anyone in good shape who likes to take it easy as the whole route is mostly flat or downhill. It is easy as I took my bike on the train from Balmes with Provença street up to the Peu de Funicular stop …

My post is about the most romantic day I have had in Barcelona. I hope you like it and you vote for it in the contest! I knew Silvia for 17 years as we had a short romance when we were kids. Last summer we saw each other in L’Atlantida, a popular disco in Sitges, and we started to flirt using Facebook. Once we exchanged 5-6 messages, I proposed to go on a date! It …
